On July 28, Feng Jianguo, Executive Vice President of the Shandong Charity Federation, led a delegation to visit Weiqiao Pioneering Group for research and discussions. Zhang Bo, Chairman of the Group, held a meeting with the delegation. Wang Hengbo, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group, Director, and Second-Level Inspector of the Binzhou Civil Affairs Bureau; Zhang Qian, Secretary of the Zouping Municipal Party Committee; and Sun Dongping, Deputy Secretary and Mayor of Zouping City, also participated in the meeting.
During the discussion, Feng Jianguo gave a brief overview of the Federation’s work over the past year, future plans, and the use of donation funds from Weiqiao Pioneering Group. He noted that in July 2024, Weiqiao donated 10 million RMB to the Federation, earmarked for the “Ray of Sunshine” livelihood assistance projects, making a meaningful contribution to the high-quality development of charitable causes in Binzhou and across the province. He expressed hope that Weiqiao would continue to play a leading and exemplary role by organizing diverse and impactful philanthropic activities and projects to help address social and livelihood issues and support vulnerable groups.
Chairman Zhang Bo stated that the Group will continue to increase its investment in public welfare and charity, giving back to society through diversified approaches. Having established sound communication mechanisms with the Shandong Charity Federation, the Group will actively support local economic development and improve people’s livelihoods—particularly in areas like rural revitalization and community development—through direct participation in charity programs and targeted donations. This reflects the Group’s commitment to fulfilling its corporate social responsibility and contributing to the goal of common prosperity.
At the meeting, Feng Jianguo presented Weiqiao Pioneering Group with an honorary plaque recognizing it as a “Caring and Charitable Enterprise.”
