On November 24, Weiqiao Pioneering Group donated 50 million yuan to the Shandong Charity Federation to establish the “Shandong Charity Federation–Weiqiao Pioneering Group Love and Care Charity Fund.”

Yu Guoan, former Vice Chairman of the Shandong Provincial Committee of the CPPCC and President of the Shandong Charity Federation, attended the ceremony and delivered remarks. Zhuang Yan, Party Secretary and Director of the Shandong Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, presided over the event. He Xianzhuo, Party Secretary and Director of Shandong Radio and Television Station; Lu Yi, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Shandong Federation of Industry and Commerce; Sun Shan, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of Shandong Radio and Television Station; Feng Jianguo, Executive Vice President of the Shandong Charity Federation; Yin Shaoqiang, Vice President of the Federation; Wang Hengbo, Party Secretary, Director, and Level-II Inspector of the Binzhou Municipal Bureau of Civil Affairs; and Zhang Hongxia, Party Secretary and General Manager of Weiqiao Pioneering Group, attended the donation ceremony.

During the ceremony, Zhang Hongxia, on behalf of Weiqiao Pioneering Group, presented the donation check to the Shandong Charity Federation. Yu Guoan accepted the donation on behalf of the Federation and presented a donation certificate to the Group.

Feng Jianguo, Executive Vice President of the Shandong Charity Federation, and Huang Pingyi, Deputy General Manager of Weiqiao Pioneering Group, signed the agreement for the “Shandong Charity Federation–Weiqiao Pioneering Group Love and Care Charity Fund” on behalf of both parties.

In her remarks, Zhang Hongxia introduced the Group’s charitable initiatives. She stated that the Group will continue to give back to society with gratitude and commitment, contributing to development, striving to be a builder of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and a promoter of Chinese modernization. She expressed the Group’s intention to work hand in hand with all sectors to support the improvement of people’s well-being in Shandong.

In his speech, Yu Guoan fully commended the philanthropic contributions of Weiqiao Pioneering Group. He noted that the Shandong Charity Federation looks forward to working together with the Group to create an exemplary model of “corporate philanthropy + public well-being services.”
