On December 30, Weiqiao Pioneering Group convened the 2025 Work Summary and Commendation Congress.
Song Yongxiang, Secretary of the Binzhou Municipal Party Committee; Ma Junyun, Director of the Standing Committee of the Binzhou Municipal People's Congress; Fan Liansheng, Chairman of the Binzhou Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC); Hu Bo, Member of the Standing Committee and Vice Mayor of the Binzhou Municipal Party Committee; Ding Feng, Member of the Standing Committee and Secretary-General of the Binzhou Municipal Party Committee; Lv Mingtao, Vice Mayor of Binzhou; Hu Yunjiang, Vice Chairman of the Binzhou Municipal CPPCC and Director of the Binzhou Municipal Finance Bureau; Zhang Bo, Secretary-General of the Binzhou Municipal Government; Zhang Qian, Secretary of the Zouping Municipal Party Committee; and Sun Dongping, Deputy Secretary of the Zouping Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Zouping, attended the congress. Zhang Bo, Chairman of Weiqiao Pioneering Group, delivered a work report entitled Staying True to Our Original Aspiration, Forging Ahead Persistently, Continuously Building a Modern Industrial Pattern and Governance System, and Striving Unremittingly to Create a Respected Century-Old Manufacturing Enterprise. Zhang Hongxia, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Group, read out the Decision on Commending the Advanced Collectives and Individuals of 2025. Zhang Yanhong, Director and Executive Vice President of the Group, and other group leaders were also present.
On behalf of the four leading bodies of Binzhou City, Song Yongxiang extended congratulations to Weiqiao Pioneering Group and the commended collectives and individuals. He affirmed the Group's outstanding contributions in industrial upgrading, innovative development, reform and opening-up over the past year, noting that the Group has played an important role in the development of Binzhou.
He hoped that Weiqiao Pioneering Group would continue to strive for higher goals, focus on high-end, intelligent and green development, and push the two industrial clusters of aluminum and textile towards the high end; forge ahead for innovation, deepen the integration of scientific and technological innovation and industry, and accelerate the development of new productive forces; and pursue long-term development, strengthen enterprise Party building, fulfill social responsibilities, care for employees, and promote the sustainable development of the enterprise.
Song Yongxiang emphasized that Binzhou will continue to optimize the business environment, and support enterprises and entrepreneurs to achieve better development in Binzhou with high-quality services, an open pattern and a comfortable environment.
In his speech, Zhang Qian pointed out that in 2025, rooted in Zouping of Binzhou, Weiqiao Pioneering Group has demonstrated its responsibility in safeguarding national energy and resource security, promoting industrial transformation, stabilizing the overall economic situation, and repaying its hometown actively, and practiced the mission of Starting Undertakings for the Country, Bringing Benefits to the People.
Looking ahead to 2026, the Zouping Municipal Party Committee and the municipal government will continue to take serving enterprises as the top priority, optimize services, unite with enterprises with one heart, and make new breakthroughs together in industrial development, project construction, scientific and technological upgrading, and people's livelihood improvement, so as to make greater contributions to the development of Binzhou.
Summarizing the Group's work in 2025, Zhang Bo stated that facing the complex and severe external environment over the past year, with the support of Party committees and governments at all levels, all employees earnestly inherited the sincere patriotism and entrepreneurial spirit of the late Chairman Zhang Shiping, rose to challenges and forged ahead persistently. The Group achieved an annual sales revenue of RMB 591.5 billion , with all major economic indicators hitting a record high.
In his work report, Zhang Bo comprehensively summarized the Group's major work in 2025 and during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, made an in-depth analysis of the current shortcomings and the facing situation, and scientifically planned the development blueprint for the 15th Five-Year Plan period and the key tasks for 2026.
Zhang Hongxia read out the Decision on Commending the Advanced Collectives and Individuals of 2025.
At the congress, leaders from Binzhou and Zouping cities as well as the Group presented medals and certificates to representatives of advanced units and individuals,and the Shandong Weiqiao·Xiangshang Sports Table Tennis Club. Representatives of the Excellent Management Award winners, pacesetters and advanced workers delivered typical speeches.
The congress commended and rewarded the outstanding performers of the year, including 28 ministerial-level advanced units, 128 department-level advanced units, 378 section-level advanced units, 1,225 advanced teams, 14 Excellent Management Award winners, 1,070 pacesetters, 8,783 advanced workers, 76 outstanding new employees, 1 team winning the Spiritual Civilization Award and 6 individual winners of the Spiritual Civilization Award.
