On October 12, Shandong held a conference on ideals and convictions for young private-sector entrepreneurs at the Weiqiao Narada Grand Hotel. Deng Yunfeng, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and Head of its United Front Work Department, addressed the conference and presented letters of appointment to members of a provincial mentoring panel dedicated to promoting the healthy development of the private sector and the healthy growth of private-sector entrepreneurs.

In his keynote speech, Zhang Bo emphasized that the foundation for the steady, long-term development of private enterprises lies in maintaining firm ideals and convictions, following the right political direction, and keeping their development aligned with the goals of the Party and the country. Zhang Bo encouraged young entrepreneurs to strike a balance between social responsibility and commercial interests, growth and stability, and innovation and core principles, pursuing high-quality business development while contributing to Shandong’s modernization.
