On July 2, the Group held a commendation meeting to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China in the Great Hall on the first floor of the headquarters office building. The Group awarded 48 outstanding party members, 20 outstanding party workers and 20 advanced party branches who made outstanding contributions, at the same time awarded commemorative medals to old party members who had been in the party for 50 years. Leaders of Zouping City such as Pi Taitian, Hu Yunjiang, Wang Dong, Yan Shizhu, Sun Lihua, Sun Dongping, Wang Xin, Liu Dejun, and Group leaders such as Zhang Bo, Zhang Hongxia and Zhang Yanhong attended the commendation meeting.
Zhang Hongxia, secretary of the Party Committee and general manager of the Group, gave an enthusiastic speech. She expressed her warm congratulations to the outstanding individuals and advanced collectives who had been commended, and extended her sincere greetings to the party organizations at all levels of the Group and the majority of party members. She requested that an in-depth study of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech on July 1 should be an important political task in the future to ensure that the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech is implemented in the enterprise, and to continue to promote the high-quality development of enterprise in unswerving adherence to the party’s leadership.
The leaders of the city and the Group awarded the "Glorious 50 Years in the Party" commemorative medal to the old party members, and awarded medals, honorary certificates and trophies to outstanding party members, outstanding party workers and representatives of advanced party branches.
The conference came to an end in a chorus of "No Communist Party, No New China".
