On February 21, Weiqiao Pioneering Group and Institute of
Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences signed a strategic cooperation
agreement in Weiqiao-UCAS (Binzhou) Science and Technology Park, starting the
construction of Weiqiao-UCAS Metal Materials Center and the implementation of
the first 12 projects. At the same time, the two parties also signed a
cooperation agreement with Shandong Guangfu Group to continue to promote the
extension of the lightweight industry and the strengthening of the chain.

signing ceremony.

Zhang Bo: In the new year, achieve "four major events"
First, start the
construction of a new energy equipment innovation base in Zouping, take the
opportunity of Weiqiao, Guangfu and the Institute of Metals' special steel
application research and development cooperation to carry out the manufacture
of special steel and parts for lightweight supporting, and deploy the pilot
research, development and application demonstration of new hydrogen energy
materials. The second is to upgrade and build a lightweight engineering center
in the lightweight base. The third is to fully start the construction of
high-end metal composite material innovation base in Binzhou Economic and
Technological Development Zone. The fourth is to build a metal material research
center in Binzhou Weiqiao–UCAS Science and Technology Park.

Before signing the
contract, the relevant leaders and experts of the Institute of Metal Research,
Chinese Academy of Sciences introduced the main achievements and new
cooperation opportunities of Weiqiao Pioneering Group and the Institute of
Metals, the planning of the metal material center and the development direction
of the Weiqiao-UCAS metal unit.
On the 20th, Zuo Liang and his party visited the Zhang
Shiping Memorial Hall and inspected the Weiqiao Lightweight Base and Weiqiao-UCAS
(Binzhou) Science and Technology Park.
