From
June 19 to 21, the Third Qingdao Multinationals Summit, jointly organized by
the Ministry of Commerce and the People's Government of Shandong Province, was
held at the Qingdao International Conference Center. Zhang Bo, Chairman of
Weiqiao Pioneering Group, as a leader of multinational corporations, was
invited to attend the opening ceremony of the Summit and the Symposium of
multinational corporations, and delivered a speech on the theme of
"jointly meeting global challenges and creating a green future" at
the special event of multinational corporations' promotion of Binzhou,
introducing Weiqiao Pioneering Group's relevant practices of strengthening
international cooperation and promoting green development, and releasing the
enterprise's double carbon goals.

and Director of the Standing Committee of Binzhou Municipal People's Congress,
delivered a keynote speech
Yang Dongqi, Deputy Director of the
Standing Committee of Shandong Provincial People's Congress and Secretary of
the Leading Party Group, delivered a speech on behalf of Shandong Provincial
Party Committee and Government.
Li Shushen, Vice President and Member of the Party Leadership
Group of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Secretary of the Party Committee and
President of the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, delivered an
online speech
Ma Jiantang, Secretary of the Leading
Party Group of the Development Research Center of the State Council, made an
important speech on the theme of "further strengthening the reform to
streamline administration and delegate power, improve regulation, and upgrade
services."
In his speech, Chairman Zhang Bo announced Weiqiao's double
carbon goals for the first time: strive to achieve carbon peak by 2025, and
achieve net zero emissions within its own operating range by 2055.
Zhang Bo pointed out that international cooperation was a key
link in Weiqiao's carbon reduction road map. Weiqiao was willing to work with
all parties to smooth communication channels, improve technological innovation
mechanisms, and contribute more Chinese wisdom to promoting green development,
deepening international cooperation, and solving global problems.
