The inaugural meeting of the "Sustainable Markets Initiative" China Council was held on August 22 in Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province. Vice Premier Hu Chunhua and British Crown Prince Charles delivered video speeches respectively.

Weiqiao Pioneering Group attended the conference as a founding member of the board of directors.

At present, the China Council consists of 15 founding members including Bank of China. Weiqiao Pioneering Group is one of the 15 founding member units.
