On the morning of July 1, a grand ceremony celebrating the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC) was held at the Great Hall of the People. Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the People’s Republic of China and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, presented the July 1 Medal to its recipients and delivered an important speech.

The ceremony commended National Exemplary CPC Members, National Exemplary CPC Workers and Advanced Primary CPC Organizations. Zhang Bo, Chairman of Weiqiao Pioneering Group and Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of China Hongqiao Group Limited, was conferred the honorary title of National Exemplary CPC Member and invited to attend the ceremony, where he listened on-site to General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech.
