On July 1, Weiqiao Pioneering Group delivered a special Party class via video conference to celebrate the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Zhang Hongxia, Party Secretary and President of the Group, gave a special lecture titled Inherit Mission and Responsibility, Stay True to the Original Aspiration of Entrepreneurship. Members of the Group Party Committee leadership, Party secretaries at all levels and cadres above ministerial level attended the study session at the main venue and branch venues across all production bases.

Centering on the core theme of rooting deeply in the real economy and boosting enterprise development through pragmatic work, Zhang Hongxia systematically interpreted the Group’s long-held value pursuits and enduring spirit of hard work. Combining the Group’s long-term practices including deep cultivation of industrial sectors, global layout, technological innovation and R&D, as well as efforts to guarantee people’s livelihood and carry out public welfare undertakings, she shared the Group’s approaches to upholding a sound view of performance.

Zhang Hongxia required all Party members and cadres to adopt a problem-oriented mindset to address weaknesses, follow the management work style of "speed, high standards and low costs", improve institutional mechanisms to consolidate responsibilities, strengthen cross-department coordination, care for employees’ wellbeing, and deliver tangible results through down-to-earth work. She stressed that the Group should translate learning outcomes into concrete actions, strive hard to fulfill annual targets, and forge ahead to build a century-old manufacturing enterprise that is needed by society, sustainable in operation and respected by all.
